Lesion Removal

Non-scalpel Mole & Non-cancerous Lesion Removal

Dr Fadaly is a local GP who has a specialist interest in dermatology, and he is able to remove various non-cancerous lesions.

This is undertaken by use of curettage or hyfrecator, depending on the lesion to be removed. Local anaesthetic is used to ensure a comfortable removal.

The procedure removes the lesion completely and a new scab is formed which can take up to 3 weeks to heal. It is important to follow the aftercare advice to promote the healing process and minimise any scaring.

A full consultation is required to ensure this procedure is appropriate.
